About the Course
In Skills for Dual-Customer Interventions, participants will begin designing a dual-customer intervention that will both respond to local employers’ hiring and training needs, and give your jobseekers expedited access to those opportunities. This course is offered to alumni of Employer and Industry Engagement for Dual Customer Interventions.

How to use adult learning best practices to define specific occupation-specific Learning Outcomes for your jobseekers

What criteria you should look for in jobseeking participants, in order to maximize their success in your target workplaces

How to perform a JRA and use the results to develop an occupation-specific curriculum

How to validate and refine your proposed Learning Outcomes with employers

How to convey a clear and compelling value proposition about your program to prospective participants

Other forms of targeted workplace research that you can use if it is not feasible to conduct a JRA

How to use intentional occupation-specific training and screening and selection processes to bridge gaps in the workforce system and increase access to employment for groups who face barriers

What's included

18 hours of training, delivered over 3 workshop days. The first workshop covers workplace research and occurs two weeks before the final 2 workshop days, which are delivered back-to-back.

Upcoming Sessions

Skills for Dual-Customer Interventions is 3-day intensive course. The first day is delivered two weeks prior to the final two days, to allow participants time to complete their JRA assignment.
(Delivered over 3-weeks, 6 hours of live calls per day, including 8 - 12 hours of independent work.)
Employer and Industry Engagement for Dual-Customer Interventions is a prerequisite for participation in Skills for Dual-Customer Interventions.
