About the course
An 8-week course, Learning Together 2 is offered to alumni of Learning Together. This is a highly applied course that helps practitioners enhance their adult learning toolkit, boost learner success, and make programming even more engaging and effective.

What you will learn

Using more advanced facilitation techniques in both online and in-person settings

Leveraging simple and engaging activities to assess learners’ competencies in key program delivery areas

Integrating a ‘scaffolding approach’ in program design for maximum impact with learners

Applying the principles of peer-to-peer learning to maximize engagement and participation of your learners

Assessing and evaluating program outcomes, eliciting feedback from learners, and making positive changes

Developing a Theory of Change to guide program design

Using repetition effectively to support learners mastery and confidence in new skills without feeling overwhelmed

Integrating opportunities for learners to collaborate, problem-solve and co-regulate

7 live lessons learning how to use tools and frameworks with clients and in the design of your work, including feedback

Small peer group calls that provide an opportunity for small group discussion and sharing

Recordings of all facilitated sessions (available for 6 months after the training)

(2.5 hours of live calls per week and 2 hours of independent work)
Learning Together is a prerequisite for participation in Learning Together 2.
Participation in Learning Together 1 + 2 is a prerequisite to participating in the Learning Together Implementing with Support Technical Assistance Group.
80% attendance is required for certification.
